Homeless

Life will be much simpler if one is an extremist.Being an extremist one only sees the end point in the spectrum of choices and possibilities. Because one is so staunch in his/her convictions, her goals, he/she does not have to make a decision between choices. And that saves hell lot of time.

When u have a dreamer who is trained to think like an economist, u r brewing a very confused girl who is trying to trim the four corners of the square she is living in, so that she is living essentially living in a square with rounded corners.

She admires people who live in a perfect square. They are driven by monetary rewards and enjoy trading securities and equities. These people are all dressed in powersuits which reinforces their corporate identity and leading status in our capitalistic world. These people earn fat cheques, which they use to purchase little circles to decorate the square they live in.

She also admires people who live in a perfect circle. These people are driven by their passions for things that others would regard as 'impractical' . They become theatre performers , artists, hair-dressers etc, but because they are fueled by a passion so strong that they become very good at what they are doing too. They may not be as assets-rich as those living in a perfect square, but they are rich in their imagination and sense of satisfaction. They feel rich from all their 'creations'.

When it comes to herself she can't decide where to live . More like she is deemed not good enough to qualify to stay in either. She is a little crazy and some would say artistic, but she is no sparkle, only a flickering glow. So she can't make the cut to stay in the circle. She can't imagine herself living in a square, for she lacks the predatory hunger for corporate success, and feels detached from terms like futures, mutual funds and stochastic behavior of stock prices. lacking bond in bonds, literally.

She knows where the problem lies. She appreciates the rationale of practicality yet feel so endeared to the beauty of unleashing creativity and expressions. And she is only a B grade student for both areas. Worse still, she doesn't feel especially motivated by either of them.

So now she is homeless.
