The Black, Suave and Smooth ...

Nadya is sleeping like a baby now. She was so right, 7 Guiness Stout will see u sleeping through an earthquake.

The cool thing was, she had 5 cans of 440ml Guiness Draught which are equivalent to almost 7 cans of normal 325ml Guiness, these cans were given FREE. And it was WITHIN SCHOOL. What can i say, this campus is getting hippier and hippier everyday!

We went to this eatery called Munchie Monkey , just next to where we stay and this chic Italian cafe cum restaurant is THRIVING and packed with students every night. Which other eatery opens till 10 pm, and best of all, serves ALCOHOL?! If that is not enough, it has a giant screen to project music videos and football matches,and tomorrow, it will a roof-rocking night of roaring excitement with the live telecast of the match between Liverpool and Man U, and flows of beer will definitely boost the senses of exhilaration right through the rooftop!

This is only the beginning. Guiness is now having promotion to introduce Guiness Draught into Munchie Monkey and gives free-flow of it as much as u can take. Bring it on, baby! So my alcoholic roomie and I just couldn't miss this good chance of relishing in the endless flow of this frothy black liquid gold.

So much as i felt like swimming and waddling in a pool of Guiness Draught in drunken bliss, i took only THREE SIPS. Hahaha. I figured a night of fun is not worthed 3 days of trance-like prancing in ITCHINESS from my RASHES. So, THREE SIPS: first for its frothiness, second for its silky texture, third for its slight bitterness. I can imagine how a few burly , hoarse and drunkard beer-drinking men who would down mugs and mugs into their beer-bellies, would stare at me in disgust at my 'constipated' way of drinking beer had i been in a bar. WHO ON EARTH SIPS BEER???? That is plain blasphemism to beer. Insult to its very existence.

So, Nadya had my share. By the end of the 5th can, she was all giggly and talking non-stop. She was obviously in a state of mild-high, and floating in the clouds. We laughed so much while eating and drinking ; an adequate amount of alcohol really does wonder in relaxing one's inhibitions and allows oneself to be open with his/her emotions. It was really a hearty meal.

Nadya hates football, but she is definitely there again tomorrow. Haha. :)

P.S: Today i just found out that Guiness stout is a combination of BEER and COFFEE!Don't tell me that i am so ULU to be the only one to know of it now, or did Nadya trick me? And there is a plastic ball bearing in every can, it is called the floating widget and it is suppposed to change the way the stout gathers its froth upon opening the can. What is the physics behind it, i wonder. Hmm....
