You know the economy is turning for the better when all they sell at Christmas bazaars are cute useless soft toys, moss in a bottle that will bring good luck, and paperweights made of left-over plastics. And there are people buying them!

Consumerism in Singapore is really heated up during this period, ppl are splurging on JUNKIES that will serve not much purpose. Including myself. There seems to be endless galore of things u can buy: clothes, cosmetics, accessories, little cutesies for friends, and of course, junk food! Given all these tempting buys around, I cannot envisage how am i going to sustain my lifestyle next time with a measly starting pay. It is really frightening, to think that you can only barely keep yourself alive with all ur earnings and leaving nothing for savings, not to mention to give your parents some allowance....No, no, don't want to imagine myself having to collect cans to sell just to buy food when i am old next time. Urrghhh.

I need to practise restrain, i must i must! And more importantly, devise a smart saving plan. Hmm...anyone has any idea what is the best way to stash up those cash?
